2016 Chardonnay,  Monterey County, California  (white wine)

PAIRING: “GET A LIFE” Chardonnay should be paired with Life’s moments when you or someone you know needs an attitude adjustment. We are all guilt of a bad attitude on occasion and need to just “Get A Life”.

VINEYARDS: “Get A Life” Chardonnay grapes were sourced from vineyards throughout Monterey County. The diversity of vineyard sources gives “Get A Life” white wine its delicious complexity. Monterey County reflects the cooling influence of the Monterey Bay that creates a cool growing conditions for the Chardonnay varietal. There are enough warm days to ripen the white wine grapes yet the marine influence predominates. Due to the cool growing conditions, harvest is typically two week later than other regions, allowing for a long season and slow fruit maturation. In other words, Monterey County makes yummy Chardonnay!

TASTING NOTES: Get ready to change your bad attitude to a nicer disposition when you enjoy a glass of “Get A Life”. All your senses will come to Life when you enjoy this medium-bodied classic Chardonnay. The first sip of “Get A Life” is fruit driven with hints of lemon, Fuji apple, ripe pineapple and baked pear. Mid palate you get the awesome rich cream and hint of oak which is a wonderful balance to the fruit. This Chardonnay finishes clean with lingering acidity and excellent texture. “Get A Life” has a beautiful attitude and is a great expression of Monterey County Chardonnay.
